Witness the brilliant career graph of Tabu, a budding actor of the 90s, progressing into a versatile actor 2 decades later. Her films Drishyam, Haider, Fitoor are testament to her phenomenal screen persona and ability to portray diverse characters with grey shades while also performing diametrically different films like Golmaal Again & Hera Pheri.
On her experience on Missing, which hits theaters today, Tabu reveals how sincere Manoj Bajpayee is in his dual role as an actor and a producer. A responsible cast and crew member, he would give his best to the scene, and expect to do his best even as a producer. However, she elaborated, in a huge unit of 200-300 people, it would get difficult to keep everybody happy and content in terms of work, pay and progress.
She believes she threw quite a few tantrums on set, troubling her debut producer. “Manoj would take things too personally and end up in a lot of stress”, disclosed Tabu. Interestingly, Manoj Bajpayee turned producer on the insistence of Neeraj Pandey, a man of his word, who doesn’t believe in bad mouthing or talking ill about anybody, Manoj placed his trust on Neeraj and took on the production duties for Missing.
Not many know, but Manoj lovingly calls Tabu as ‘Tabban’, his favorite co-star and a dear friend. Tabu has gradually become a people’s person and believes this extrovert nature has helped her in her 2.5 decade long career.
