Anees Bazmee’s laugh riot, Mubarakan, starring Anil Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor in the lead roles is all set to hit the theatres this Friday! For the first time ever, the chacha-bhatija, Anil Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor will be seen sharing the screen space together and interestingly, in themovie also they play chacha-bhatija. Arjun Kapoor plays double role of two brothers–Karanveer Singh and Charanveer Singh. The film also features Athiya Shetty and Ileana D’Cruz. Produced by Boney Kapoor, Mubarakan seems to be on the line of Bazmee’s previous hits, No Entry and Welcome, i.e. a complete family entertainer.

Mubarakan is the story of two identical twins, Karan and Charan Singh who, through a twist of fate end up becoming cousins. While one is brought up in Chandigarh, the other one is London. Their paths collide when their families start searching for a bride for them, without knowing the fact that they already have girlfriends. The fun begins when their genius uncle Kartar Singh, played by Anil Kapoor comes to their rescue. A series of confusion and laugh riots begins. Will Kartar Singh be able to get them out of this mess or will he create some more mess and confusion? Meet this craziest and funniest family in cinemas near you this Friday! Already announced as the year’s cleanest comedy by Censor board, Mubarakan is expected to do wonders at the box office.

The music of the film composed by Amaal Malik has been garnering praise ever since its release. Especially the song Hawa Hawa in the trailer has become a party anthem. The film promises more foot tapping songs. Desi numbers? Check. Club songs? Item numbers? Check. And since wedding forms an integral part in the film, expect some Shaadi Shenanigans as well.

Arjun Kapoor was last seen in Half Girlfriend with Shraddha Kapoor. The film got mixed reviews at the box office. Arjun has not yet managed to give a big blockbuster since his debut in Bollywood with Ishaqzaade in 2012. He has been praised for his acting skills, but still lacks a big hit. Can Mubarakan prove to be that hit film for Arjun? Time will tell, but we know one thing for sure, his Sikh avatar and camaraderie with uncle Anil Kapoor in Mubarakan looks promising enough to pull crowds to the theatres this weekend.

So, are you ready for the madness to get unveiled? It’s time to meet the craziest family in town! It’s Mubarakan time!
