It’s right to say Nawazuddin Siddiqui is on a roll this year. After coming up with Raees, Mom, Munna Michael and Babumoshai Bandookbaaz, he is unstoppable and is not looking to take a break anytime soon. There are very few unconventional actors in the industry and Nawazuddin is undoubtedly one of the best we have. His upcoming film ‘Monsoon Shootout’ is going to release next month and the motion poster has just got out and looks pretty thrilling. Directed by Amit Kumar and produced by Guneet Monga, Anurag Kashyap, Arun Rangachari and Vivek Rangachari, Monsoon Shootout finally sees the light of day after a four-year wait.

The movie had already bagged a nomination under the Golden Camera category at the Cannes Film Festival 2013, where it premiered, and received positive reviews from international critics from all over the world.  The plot of Monsoon Shootout is mainly about the tough choice that a policeman faces every time he is on duty; to shoot or not? Nawazuddin had shot for ‘Monsoon Shootout’ immediately after much acclaimed ‘Gangs Of Wasseypur’ and the release date has been getting postponed since then.

The movie stars Vijay Varma who essays the character of a cop, and also features Neeraj Kabi and Tannishtha Chatterjeein the lead roles. Set to release on December 15, 2017, you can check out the motion poster of the film where one can hear, “Mujhse Darta Hai Kya?” in Nawazuddin’s Voice.
