Salman Khan’s NGO, Being Human Foundation, has often been in the spotlight for its philanthropic deeds. The charity works for the underprivileged in the sectors of education and healthcare has managed to build Khan’s reputation to a certain level. But now, the NGO has been blacklisted by the authorities of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation for not setting up a concessional dialysis unit at Allied Cooperative Society in Bandra.

Post bidding for the project in December 2016, Being Human Foundation has not operated its concessional unit for over 18 months. The foundation has also failed to appoint staff and maintaining the center. The BMC sent two letters to the NGO, on January 6th and January 18th , warning the organization that it would be blacklisted for its negligent behavior after bidding for the project.

A senior official was quoted from BMC saying:

“Being Human, which was shortlisted for running the dialysis centre at Bandra (West), had paid the bank guarantee and was granted all the necessary permissions to go ahead with the project. But with the project not taking off, we have issued them a show-cause notice warning that they would be blacklisted.”

While his NGO is busy figuring their next course of action, Salman Khan is busy shooting for the third installment in the Race franchise, Race 3 in Bangkok. When asked about Race 3, this is what Salman Khan had to say:

“When I saw first and second (Race films), I didn’t like few scenes in that. The way characters were shown being selfish, fighting for money basically I had a problem with the format of those films. So Race 3 will have action and cars but sometimes people think that it’ll be an adult film and then there will be things what you have in adult films but I am avoiding all that in this film.”
