In a promotional activity for YRF’s upcoming venture Hitchki, Rani Mukherji has set out to decode the Hitchki among the lives of several celebrities. Shah Rukh Khan, who has teamed up with her in many blockbusters, with a super hit track record with production house Yash Raj, opened up about how painful it was to lose his parents.
Narrating the greatest Hitchki in his life, when he unfortunately lost his parents to cancer, and how saddening it had been for him and his sister. The home would feel empty and would come out to bite them. He mentioned it could have taken over his life wholly, but he decided to get over the sadness by filling his life with acting.
Shah Rukh Khan said, “For me, acting is not work but a place to vent out my feelings”. Shahrukh had admitted once, that whenever a script demands him to cry, he feels real life emotions and pain present in his lifetime, to deliver the scene.
He is grateful for all the suffering as God has given him the strength to overcome it and feels this universal to every being.
Rani Mukherji’s Hitchki will see her as a teacher called Naina Mathur, suffering from Tourettre Syndrome, (a disorder which caused sudden unexpected hiccups during speech), a film on overcoming one’s weaknesses while helping the underprivileged.
Directed by Maneesh Sharma, under the YRF banner, Hitchki will release on March 23rd worldwide.
