The race to become the best student of the year is finally picking up pace once again as the first look of the movie SOTY 2 was recently released online. Karan Johar’s upcoming Hindi movie was speculated for a long time now and is a sequel to the 2012 movie, ‘Student Of The Year’ which starred the then newbies, Alia Bhatt, Siddharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan. Well the first look of the movie is out and it features Tiger Shroff as the lead. The first poster of the film was unveiled by him this morning and he totally nails the look. Boasting a brat look in rugged jeans, Tiger is seen resting on the Student of The Year shield. Check out his tweet below:

Unlike the posters of the first instalment of the franchise, the movie is not hinting at the leading ladies in the movie. There are various speculations that Disha Patani and Chunky Pandey’s daughter Ananya Pandey will play the female leads in the film, but no official confirmation has come as yet. On the other hand, Tiger Shroff is pretty excited for his role in the movie and come out as a versatile actor. The focus at least for now, is entirely on Tiger Shroff and the Student Of The Year Trophy which is quite visible in the poster. We also have Karan Tacker playing the other lead in the movie (Read

Helmed by Punit Malhotra, the movie is expected to hit the floors early next year and is expected to hit the floors as hard as the first one. We have high expectations from SOTY 2, especially after the success of the prequel. It will be an interesting mix for these different actors pairing up on the big screen and taking forward the KJo franchise.
