One of the most anticipated Bollywood movies coming out in July is Dhadak. Dhadak is the official Hindi remake of the Marathi film, Sairat, which was a massive blockbuster hit when it released a little more than two years ago. The film touched upon the issue of casteism through the story of Archi and Parshya, who belong to different castes, but end up falling in love.
Not only was the film a crowd favorite, it also had a popular soundtrack. Almost all the songs from Sairat were loved by all, but the biggest hit track was Zingaat with its catchy beat. Zingaat’s popularity was so big that it couldn’t have been excluded from the remake. Lyricist Amitabh Bhattacharya said that they’ve kept the word ‘zingaat’ since it was the essence of the original song, and rewritten the other lyrics around it, making it quite a fascinating composition.

Karan Johar, who is producing the film, tweeted yesterday that the new track, Zingaat, will be out today. He also announced that the dance moves for this Dhadak song have been choreographed by Farah Khan, which has made everyone even more excited to see the song. Dharma Movies has also shared an Instagram post of the lead stars Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter practicing dance moves for the song, which we will finally get to see when the song launches.
This song will only be increasing the hype around Dhadak. Directed by Shashank Khaitan, the film is scheduled to be released in less than a month on July 20.
