The Zoya Factor is a story of love and luck. The movie is about a girl, Zoya Singh Solanki who comes to know the Indian Cricket team owing to her job in an ad agency. Things get interesting as the team is convinced that Zoya is their lucky charm and will lead them to victory in the upcoming World Cup. Then enters Nikhil Khoda, the newly appointed skipper who doesn’t believe in luck and superstitions. Even though Zoya and Nikhil are at loggerheads, unknowingly they are also drawn to each other. The story is set in 2011 before India lifted their second World Cup.
Sonam Kapoor who was also the director’s first choice to play the bubbly Zoya said, “It’s always nice to play vibrant, empowered women. I’m excited that Pooja and Aarti are making this film with me and Abhishek, who is brilliant with actors.”
Whereas, Dulquer Salam said, “I loved the idea and how the book was adapted for the screen. It’s a super team and I’ve known a lot of them for a long time.”
The film will hit the theatres on April 5 2019. Are you excited enough to meet Sonam and Dulquer in The Zoya Factor?
