Summer’s here, which means we can expect a line-up of fun blockbusters. Here’s a month-long guide to cool weekends full of entertainment. Check out these feel-good movies for some good vibes this summer!

1. 102 Not Out (4th May)

Based on a Gujarati play, this film brings together two living legends on screen after 27 years. This fun comedy follows the unusual relationship between a 75-year-old (Rishi Kapoor) and his 102-year-old father (Amitabh Bachchan), who aspires to break the record for the longest living man.


2. Life of the Party (11th May)

Melissa McCarthy is back with another hilarious joyride. Here she plays a middle-aged housewife who pursues her dream of getting a degree at same college as her daughter (Debby Ryan). Here, she becomes more popular than she could have ever expected.


3. Deadpool 2 (18th May)

Ryan Renolds gave us our favourite slapstick, wisecracking superhero in 2016 with Deadpool. Now he’s coming back in Deadpool 2 with more meta humor and action-packed sequences in this guaranteed blockbuster.

4. Book Club (18th May)

Book Club features popular veteran actresses like Jane Fonda, Diane Keaton, Mary Steenburgen, and Candice Bergen. It is a fun comedy about a group of lifelong friends whose lives take an adventurous turn when they start reading 50 Shades of Grey.


5. Solo – A Star Wars Story (25th May)

A stand-alone prequel to the iconic original Star Wars film from 1977, Solo is about the adventures of a young Han Solo and Chewbacca. See their early encounters with Lando Calrissian before joining the Rebellion.

6. Veere Di Wedding (1st June)

Featuring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar, and Shikha Talsania as four best friends, this film promises to be a superhit female buddy comedy. The story revolves around four female friends who are in their pursuit of true love.
