As we all know Madhuri Dixit is ready to make her Marathi debut with Bucket List, directed by Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoskar. The teaser of the same was released last week and like most of us, KJo absolutely loved the teaser. What makes it different is that Karan Johar was so impressed by it that he is all set to present Madhuri Dixit’s first Marathi film.

KJo and Madhuri Dixit had an amusing conversation on Twitter that suggested his association with the movie.

Alongside AA films, Johar’s Dharma Productions will be presenting the entertainer. Dharma Productions’ run in the regional film industry has been nothing but successful. KJo came on board with SS Rajamouli’s blockbuster Baahubali franchise. Now, he is extremely excited about presenting Bucket List because this marks Dharma’s entry in the Marathi film industry. Karan also shares a warm equation with Madhuri.

When asked of how he felt about this collaboration, KJo elatedly said:

“I’ve been a staunch believer in regional cinema and since Baahubali, I am confident that good cinema with a great platform breaks the barrier of language. Moreover, the opportunity to launch the superstar actor Madhuri Dixit in her mother language is going to be my absolute pleasure. Together with the team of Bucket List and AA films, we hope that this heart-warming film gets all the love it deserves.”

Bucket List is deemed to be a light-hearted, warm story that deals with self-realization of Madhuri’s character. Even though it is a story of every household, it has a silver lining to it. Madhuri was quoted saying that the film will not only give the audience hope and inspiration but also encourage them to live life in the true sense.

The film is set to release on May 25, 2018. What makes the date all the more special is that the film is scheduled to hit the theatres on Karan Johar’s birthday.
