5 Comic Book Characters We Want to See On the Big Screen

Written by Pooja

Marvel and DC have played a major role in getting us addicted to comic books, while comic books movies have been entertaining us every since the 50s. With better VFX and graphics, weare now greedy and wish to see more and more characters on the big screen. Here’s our wish list of all the superheroes and villains we wish to see in comic book movies.

She Hulk

She Hulk Jennifer Walters is a cousin of Bruce Banner (Hulk). Walters is a lawyer and her powers are lesser than her “monstrous” cousin. She looks amazonian and is a lawyer by profession. Her character arc is interesting as she struggles with her transformations as well has her Walters persona. She Hulk has never appeared in any comic book movies and we’d love to see her in a film.

Carnage is a symbiote, just like Venom. As Carnage is an alien life form, he is shown to feel no feelings of affection, remorse, etc. Carnage bonds with Cletus Kasady, who used to be Brock’s (Venom’s) cell mate. Carnage is an arch nemesis to Spider-Man as well as Venom. His mention in the comic book movie Venom’s post credit scenes has gotten everyone excited.

Remy LeBeau aka Gambit is a mutant and is born with supernatural ability to control and manipulate kinetic energy at will. He is popular for infusing kinetic energy in playing cards among other things while in a fight. Gambit appeared briefly in X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

Daisy Johnson aka Quake is a superheroine with powers to cause an earthquake at will. She is the member of S.H.I.E.L.D. and has helped in defeating the mutant leader Magneto. She is an illegitimate child of supervillain Mister Hyde. Quake is already being portrayed on the television medium and it’ll be great to watch her in action on the big screen.

Captain Marvel

Carol Danvers is a colleague of Captain Marvel (Mar-Vell) and is a Kree (a technologically advanced alien race). After an explosion, her DNA is mixed with Mar-Vell and she is incarnated as Ms. Marvel. Captain Marvel is set to appear on the big screen in 2019 in Avengers: Endgame and is being played by Brie Larson.
