It was not long ago that Thanos turned half the universe into dust in the April 2018 release Avengers: Infinity War, a sequel that was awaited with bated breath. While the fans still have an agonizing waiting period for Avengers: Infinity War 2, directors Joe Russo and Anthony Russo have been working on something exciting. According to a recent announcement by the Amazon studio head Jennifer Salke, the Russo brothers are touted to work on “a groundbreaking global event franchise” which would be “large-scope, multi-layered international event series”. No prominent details have been given out at this time except that this is supposed to be a “mothership” series that may give way to creating many local production series in local languages.
Amazon Studios head Jennifer Salke said:
In addition, this project is designed to give “creative freedom” to the Russo brothers and that is enough to create major buzz among fans. Apart from this, Amazon Prime Video is all set to release high-octane drama Jack Ryan and had also recently announced the Lord Of The Rings series. The Russo brothers have an untitled Avengers film in the pipeline.
