Kate and Leopold

This is a romantic-comedy and is a fantasy tale wherein Hugh Jackman plays a suave and chivalrous Duke of Albany who is a dreamer and the inventor of elevators. He travel time and enters the (then) present day New York and meets Kate (Meg Ryan).


This was the perfect ending to his reign as Wolverine – this is where he hung his claws. Hugh Jackman’slast  movie as Wolverine was also a sort of bittersweet moment for the fans because on one hand, the film is beautiful but on the other, Jackman announced that he will not be playing Wolverine anymore.

Hugh Jackman plays Robert Angier, an aristocratic magician, whose prestige is his act that wows the audiences. His nemesis is his competitor, Alfred Borden, a working class magician. They both try to one-up each other. This Christopher Nolan film is sheer genius.
