Tom Cruise is back in action as the rogue-ish agent Ethan Hunt with the sixth installment of the Mission: Impossible franchise. The movie is written and directed by Christopher McQuarrie, who previously helmed the fifth installment, Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation.
The plot thickens around Ethan Hunt making an attempt to rectify all the mishaps from their last mission. The last mission goes awfully wrong and Ethan finds himself alone and his ally Ilsa Faust (Rebecca Fergusson) turns against him and his close accomplices try to guess his moves and his underlying intentions.
In the 6th installment, Ethan Hunt and his team travels to Kashmir to mitigate the after effects of an epidemic threatening the population of three countries. The film references to India and Indian army, but the sequences of the movie have been shot in New Zealand. According to reports, this would be the final sequence in the film.
Director Christopher McQuarrie told IANS that they wanted to shoot the film in India, but permissions came in the way. “We wouldn’t have had permission to shoot a helicopter chase sequence anywhere in the world apart from New Zealand,” he said.
Mission: Impossible – Fallout also stars Rebecca Fergusson, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Alec Baldwin, Michelle Monaghan, Angela Bassett and Vanessa Kirby. This movie is set to be the last movie from the Mission Impossible franchise. Mission Impossible- Fallout, produced by Paramount Pictures would seize the movie theatres internationally on July 27th 2018.
