Is there anything this wonder woman can not do? Literally, Priyanka Chopra has been doing so many things these days! From acting (in Bollywood as well as Hollywood) to producing regional movies to appearing on talk shows and attending Award functions, Priyanka Chopra has done it all. Now, the lady is adding one more feather to her cap. She is all set to produce a comedy series for ABC network, the same channel that launched her acting career in the West with their show Quantico.

This untitled single-camera series would follow a former Bollywood star who settles down in the suburbs of America with her bi-cultural family and tries to bring her colourful lifestyle to an otherwise dull town. Apparently, this comedy series is based on the real life of Madhuri Dixit , who will be an executive producer of the series as well. Madhuri’s husband, Dr Sriram Nene will also executively produce the series. Penned by Sri Rao, a Bollywood writer and a writer for shows like “General Hospital: Night Shift”, this series will be co-produced by ABC Studios.

Priyanka Chopra is currently busy shooting for her two upcoming Hollywood movies, ‘Isn’t It Romantic’ with Liam Hemsworth and ‘A Kid Like Jake’ with Claire Danes, Jim Parsons, and Octavia Spencer. The third season of Quantico is also on the cards and she will soon assign dates for its shoot. On the home front, she might be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next title, Gustakhiyan. The film is based on the love story of veteran poets, Sahir Ludhianvi and Amrita Pritam. For the role of Sahir Ludhianvi, Abhishek Bachchan has been roped in. Few reports also suggest that Priyanka is not acting in the film, but will be producing it. As for her Production house, Purple Pebble Pictures, there are quite a few regional projects the company has backed.

Madhuri Dixit has been away from the big screen for quite some time now. And in this comedy series as well, she will not be seen acting. It will be based on her life and she along with her husband and Priyanka Chopra will co-produce the series. Last seen in Gulab Gang, Madhuri’s life after marriage will be brought alive on small screen by ABC network’s untitled comedy series.

When two of the biggest Bollywood beauties come together for one show in the West, it deserves to be watched!
