Radhika Apte has bagged her first Hollywood project and she seems extremely geared up for it.
Radhika Apte has bagged a role in a female-driven World War II spy-drama that also stars Stana Katic of ‘Castle’ fame and Sarah Megan Thomas in lead roles. Reportedly, the spy-thriller is based on the real-life spies in Winston Churchill’s (the then British Prime Minister’s) secret army.
All the speculations were put to rest when Radhika Apte took to twitter to confirm the news. She shared an article by a Hollywood website and captioned the post as “Next Project”.

The Pad Man actress is all set to portray the role of Noor Inayat Khan. Her character is that of a pacifist of Indian descent who was also the first female wireless operator. The plot of the movie centres on British intelligence officer Vera Atkins (Stana Katic) and the women she sends into France as spies. Them being Noor (Apte) and Virginia Hall (Thomas).
These women are entrusted upon with extremely important duties that could result in changing the course of the war. Amidst all their duties and responsibilities how these women grow closer and form a sisterhood forms the story of the movie. Lydia Dean Pilcher (Queen of Katwe) is set to direct as well as produce the film.
Apart from the spy-drama, Radhika Apte is all set to work with Dev Patel in Michael Winterbottom’s upcoming feature ‘The Wedding Guest.’ She is also starring in a Netflix original web series titled Sacred Games alongside Saif Ali Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. It certainly is an eventful year for the actress. Way to go, Radhika Apte.
