Every day is Rajni Day! The words like Brilliance, Awesomeness, Legendary etc. were added to the dictionary in the year 1950 on 12th of December. That was the day and year Thalaiva was born. One of the truly global stars of India, Rajnida has proven time and again, that when he appears on the screen, everything else takes a back seat and he is more than enough to make people go gaga over him and his films. 23 years ago, when three of his fans lost their lives after celebrating his birthday, Rajnikanth stopped celebrating his birthday in Chennai. Even this year, he requested his fans to not celebrate his birthday as a mark of respect to former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa.
