From Dabangg 3 to Tiger Zinda Hai to Dancing Dad, Salman Khan has a number of films in his kitty right now. After a not-so-successful outing with Kabir Khan’s Tubelight, Salman Khan will be returning to his usual masala paisa-vasool movies with Remo D’Souza’s Race 3. The third installment of this successful franchise will be produced by Ramesh Taurani and Remo D’Souza is roped in to helm the film, on Salman’s insistence. Ramesh Taurani was chasing the superstar for 4 years and finally, Salman gave his nod for Race 3 on a condition that Remo helm the film. This is for the first time that Remo and Salman will work together as director and actor. The film is set to go on floors sometime next year.

Apparently, Remo wanted to cast Salman Khan for his next film, Dancing Dad. And he has been convincing Salman for this role for a long time now. The actor feels that this role is suitable for younger stars like Varun Dhawan. But now, reports suggest that Ramesh Taurani has roped in Remo D’Souza on Salman’s insistence, to direct Race 3 and Dancing Dad has taken a back seat for the time being. The first two films of the franchise Race were being produced by Abbas Mustan, the third part is going to be made by Ramesh Taurani. Salman Khan will be replacing Saif Ali Khan in the third installment of Race and will be seen playing the bad guy. His leading lady in the film has not been decided yet.

Tiger Zinda Hai Salmaan Khan Katrina Kaif
Salman Khan has given his 10th 100-crore movie – Sultan, last year. However, his second movie of the year, Tubelight failed to impress the audience at the box office. Salman is busy shooting in Morocco for his next film, Tiger Zinda Hai with Katrina Kaif. The film is set to hit the screens this Christmas. In between, he had flown down to India to shoot the promo of Big Boss 11, for which he has returned as a host this year as well. The show will be aired in September this year. Another film for which Salman has to start shooting is Arbaaz Khan’s Dabangg 3. The shooting for Dabangg 3 is also scheduled to begin this year, anytime soon.
