We certainly missed watching Ant-Man in the latest Avengers: Infinity War movie. Instead, we get a whole film dedicated to our favorite Marvel superhero in the upcoming Ant-Man and the Wasp. Paul Rudd (Ant-Man) will be joined by Evangeline Lilly (Wasp) in the main role, and together, the duo will save the day.
The new trailer of the film released yesterday, which shows Ant-Man and the Wasp working together to beat their new enemy, called Ghost. The trailer begins with Ant-Man and his daughter having a conversation about his superpowers, where he admits he finds it difficult to be the savior all by himself. His daughter suggests that he should get a partner and voila! – there’s Wasp, who seems like the ideal counterpart for Ant-Man. The trailer also gives us a glimpse of Ghost and her powers and it remains to see how the titular duo beat the shape-shifting enemy.
With regards to cast, we also see Michelle Pfeiffer and Laurence Fishburne join the team, while Michael Douglas reprises his role as Dr. Hank Pym, Ant-Man’s predecessor. The new poster of the film was shared on the official Instagram page minutes before the trailer, which also listed Michael Peña, Walton Goggins, and Hannah John-Kamen (in the role of Ghost) in the cast. It has also been revealed that Stan Lee will make a cameo in this Marvel movie as well.
