It’s almost been a decade since we witnessed the last part of one of the best horror films of all time – Saw. And after a long wait, the makers have released the trailer of their eighth part and it’s not entirely vicious, but is surely eye grabbing. The last movie SAW 3D or SAW: The Final Chapter was supposed to be the end of this gory movie franchise but this movie Jigsaw is coming this October to haunt your dreams. Co- Directed by siblings Michael Spierig and Peter Spierig, this movie Jigsaw will be out in theaters on October 20 and the game will be on again!

Jigsaw’s original title was Saw: Legacy and the first poster with a picture of the iconic pig mask and the tagline ‘Become Jigsaw’, tells us that the sequel could be more to do with new recruits potentially taking on Jigsaw’s role. Tobin Bell, the actor who has played the role of the famous Jigsaw killer has also confirmed that he will be appearing in the Jigsaw movie but, unless there’s a major revision of the plot, it’ll be in the form of tapes or audio recordings as Jigsaw died way back in Saw III.
The film takes place 10 years after the death of John Kramer, the character of Tobin, where bodies are found around the city, each having met a violent demise, and questions of a copycat arises. The upcoming English horror flick is confirmed a pleasingly short running time of 92 minutes. This puts it in line with the majority of previous Saw movies and leaves Saw III’s 108 minute running time as the longest of the franchise to date.
The Spierig brothers and scriptwriters Josh Stolberg and Pete Goldfinger bring back the infamous game on this Halloween. So if you’re a fan of gory horror and some brute violence, this is one movie you shouldn’t miss. Watch the trailer here and satisfy your movie cravings till it releases and leave you in the awe of it’s horrifying tale.
