The much-awaited trailer of the upcoming Bollywood movie Chef was recently released and the audiences are left in awe of the Saif Ali Khan starrer. The two and a half minute long trailer shows intricacies of the bond shared by a father and a son.The movie is based on Jon Favreau’s 2014 Hollywood movie of the same name. The clip shows how a professional chef Roshan Kalra played by Saif is so busy in his career that he hardly has any time for his family.
The movie also features Svar Kamble, Padmapriya and Chandan Roy Sanyal in important roles. We have seen a lot of family dramas in the past but this movie promises something of a greater value. It shows how the modern man and his delicate relationship with his family is of larger importance than his relationship with work. How a workaholic man is triggered by emotions and comes back to visit his son.
The story is about his attempt to reconnect with his family in spite of being indulged in so much of work. When he comes back to his son, Roshan tours the city and makes him taste different varieties of food. Later, Roshan quits his job in order to spend more time with his son Hari and purchases a truck and drives across various cities with him in his restaurant on wheels. The trailer brings forward the taste of food, love, family, and togetherness.
The charming locales and catchy background score mixed with some fantastic dialogues and of course mouth watering food, makes Chef a film to watch out for. From the director of Airlift, Raja Krishna Menon, comes a film which has a completely different mood and feel this October. This will be Saif’s third movie of the year.
