The teaser of Thalaivar’s upcoming movie Kaala was released nine minutes past midnight and ten hours before the set schedule. As expected the trailer has gone viral and hit a 2 million mark on YouTube, within the first few hours itself. The much-awaited movie will hit the screens on April 27th, 2018.
Rajinikanth is definitely the man who defines the masses with style in Indian Cinema. Even though the Super Star may have decided to enter politics, there is no way he is stepping away from entertaining his fans. Dhanush, who is producing the drama, took to Twitter by sharing the video and saying, “It is Diwali whenever and however Thalaivar’s Film is released.” You got that right, Dhanush.

The king of style is back. Every single frame of the 78 seconds teaser gushes out “mass”. It will definitely get the inner Rajinikanth fan in you screaming and wanting for more. The teaser opens with Nana Patekar who plays the antagonist asking – “Kaala, What sort of name is this?” Rajinikanth looks smashing on screen as he enters holding an umbrella while actor Samuthirakani’s voice is heard in the background saying, “Kaala means black. One who protects early in the morning by fighting.”
Dressed in an all-black outfit is Rajinikanth is seen doing what he does best, beating up bad men on the streets. Thalaivar fans rejoice, as throughout the teaser you are provided with several *whistle whistle* moments. The high-voltage fight sequences, Rajinikanth’s stylish entries, his swag as well as whistle-worthy dialogues. The trailer has them all.
This is the second time director, Pa Ranjith and Rajnikanth have worked together on a film, the first one being the blockbuster hit Kabali. Huma Qureshi is set to star as the female lead alongside Rajnikanth while Samuthirakani has
a pivotal role as well. The film is produced by Dhanush under the banner, WunderBar Films.
