Making or Breaking a record – that is what Baahubali 2: The Conclusion is doing ever since it was released worldwide on April 28th . After ruling the box office for two weeks now, S.S. Rajamouli’s magnum opus has broken yet another record. The film has created history by crossing the 1000-crore mark and becoming the highest-grossing Indian film worldwide, leaving behind Aamir Khan starrer, PK. Interestingly, the film was primarily made in Telugu and then dubbed in other languages like Tamil, Malyalam and Hindi, but it is the Hindi Version of the film that is creating magic at the box office. Just in 7 days, the Hindi Version has crossed 245 crores at the box office and become the biggest blockbuster of the past 10 years.

Baahubali and Kattappa

The fever of the Baahubali franchise has gripped the entire world now. Prabhas , who was a well known actor in Telugu films, has become a global actor now and his fan following in the last five years has increased and how. Never before has an Indian film has crossed 1000- crore mark internationally. After zooming past the Rs 100 Crore mark on its first day in India itself, this much-awaited movie, which piqued the interest of viewers with the question ‘Why did Kattappa kill Baahubali?’, has kept the audience coming in to find out the answer. With its World class VFX and action and massive set, the film charmed one and all.

Despite the fact that Prabhas is not a known personality in Bollywood, Baahubali is well accepted by the Hindi audience as well. While Rana Duggubatti still has some footing in Hindi cinema, Prabhas was relatively new to Hindi films. But this didn’t deter people from pouring into cinemas to watch this cinematic marvel. The film, which also stars Ramya Krishnan , Tamannah Bhatia and Anushka Shetty in the lead roles, impressed the Hindi audiences like never before. The film has done wonders at the box office, which even Shah Rukh and Salman films couldn’t have done.

Continuing its magic all over the world, the film is still going strong at the box office. Last week, Marvel’s Guardians of Galaxy released, but even that was not enough to halt the successful run of Baahubali 2: The Conclusion. Never before has an Indian film received such an overwhelming response worldwide.
