American Hip-Hop Sensation Wiz Khalifa to Join the Line-Up for Timeout 72 Alongside Jason Derulo & Martin Garrix

The newest festival on the block causing all the buzz is Timeout 72. The multi-genre music fest is set to host Indian and International artists that will be performing live on three different stages from the 27th to the 29th of December at Vagator in Goa.

The festival has been conceptualised and produced by Watermelon Events LLP and Sudarshan Entertainment World. Their latest stellar addition to the line-up that already consists of international artists Martin Garrix, Jason Derulo and Don’t Let Daddy Know is none other than hip-hop royalty Wiz Khalifa.

The 30-year-old hip-hop singing sensation, Wiz Khalifa, is the winner of multiple Billboard awards and has over 10 Grammy Nominations to boot. He is best known for hits like Black and Yellow, Young, Wild & Free, Roll Up, Say Yeah and many others. His friendship with the late actor Paul Walker inspired the massive hit See You Again for the Fast & Furious movie franchise as well.

A military brat, Khalifa is known for hits that bundle gangster rhymes, weed talk, pop hooks and some slick production. The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania rapper went from his breakthrough single Black and Yellow to becoming a feature film star with Mac and Devin Go to High School that also starred legendary hit maker Snoop Dogg, in just a short span of two years.

Along his journey to stardom, Wiz, as he is popularly known, has had many revered mixtapes, sports anthems and a friendship with West Coast Legend Snoop Dogg. The proliferation of his crew referencing Taylor Gang or Die T-shirts and many hit collaborations with heavyweight artists like Bruno Mars, The Weekend, T-Pain, French Montana, Trey Songz, Ty Dolla $ign, Rae Sremmurd, Lana Del Ray, Cassie, Miley Cyrus, Mike WiLL Made-It, Juicy J, Travis Scott, Charlie Puth and many more.

Wiz Khalifa’s latest collaboration is with the famous Mr. Multitasker of American music, the hit maker Pharrell Williams. Wiz and Pharrell are collaborating on a rap number called Look What You Did To Me, which is yet to be unveiled. Fans of the star can expect an entertaining show from the easy going artist who is also known for his unique laugh.

Reportedly, the organizers are also trying to bring in artists Badshah and Raftaar to the show which might result in an onstage collaboration with Wiz Khalifa. Fans can expect it to be an electrifying event that the organisers say will give the opportunity to the artists to get up, close and personal with the fans.
The organizers aspire to redefine music events in India and are all set to provide unparalleled experience to establish Goa as the ultimate music destination on the global music map.
