Milan Luthria is back with his new movie and it features Ajay Devgn and Emraan Hashmi in the lead roles. Yes you read it right. The hit duo of Ajay Devgn and Emraan Hashmi is back after their superhit movie Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai with the upcoming Hindi movie Baadshaho! The star cast of this much anticipated flick of the year includes Esha Gupta, Ileana D'Cruz, Sanjay Mishra and Vidyut Jamwal in the lead roles. It is also speculated that Lisa Haydon, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Sunny Leone will also be a part of this big budget movie releasing this year.

For all you movie enthusiasts out there, the music of this film was pretty good as we got to see in the trailer and a new song was released last week, with the name, Mere Rashke Qamar. We all have heard this song well, in Facebook videos, on YouTube and in Coke Studio and this time it features Ajay Devgn and Ileana D'Cruz in Luthria’s next release. This is the first track of the movie and it’s all about 'romance and royalty.' It is a recreated version of late singer Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan's hit song Rashk-E-Qamar which released in 1988. Mere Rashke Qamar is sung by his nephew Rahat Fateh Ali Khan in the movie’s version while the music has been composed by Tanishk Bagchi.

The song is shot in Rajasthan and in the video, Ileana, who belongs to a royal family, falls in love with Ajay's character. This sufi song has everything it takes a song to make it to the playlist of all the die hard romantics. Soothing lyrics, tunes of the harmonium and mandolin and the soulful voice of late Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and his nephew Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, all the elements are only adding to the beauty of the mushy romance between the lead characters who look immensely comfortable on screen in spite it being their first pair up.

Unlike many other old melodies that have lost their charm in their reinvented versions in the songs we are exposed to, this one has music composer Tanishk Bagchi retaining the original essence of the song. It will be interesting to see the rest of the soundtrack of the movie and especially songs filmed on Emraan Hashmi and other cast. If you haven't watched and heard the song yet, here is the link!
