The fourth instalment of Rohit Shetty's slapstick comedy, Golmaal is on the card and we have a new member joining the crazy Golmaal family. With Kareena Kapoor Khan walking out of the film due to her pregnancy, Parineeti Chopra is all set to join in as the female lead of Golmaal 4 which is slated for release next year on Diwali.

Parineeti Chopra was last seen in Kill Dill in 2014 opposite Ranveer Singh. Since this disastrous film, the bubbly actress is on break. And then, she surprised everyone with her silhouette hot figure And became the talk of the town when her item number with Varun Dhawan in Dishoom, “Janeman Aah” was released. Since then the girl was swarmed with movie offers from big banners. And, currently she has her hands full with movies. She will be seen in Yash Raj banner's, Meri Pyari Bindu opposite Ayushmann Khurrana and Takadum with Sushant Singh Rajput.. Now that she has bagged Golmaal 4, it would be interesting to see if she can pull off a comedy role as convincingly as her other films so far.

Ever since Golmaal 4 was announced by Rohit Shetty, speculations about the leading lady of the film were rife. Earlier it was reported that Shraddha Kapoor was finalised to fit in the shoes of Kareena, but she was dropped because of her pricey attitude. Alia Bhatt and Deepika Padukone were also rumoured to be considered for this role, but finally the official confirmation by the director himself cleared the air when he announced that Parinieeti is the new Golmaal girl. Parineeti Chopra is going to work with Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn for the first time. Rest all of the cast from Golmaal 3, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Kunal Khemu and Shreyas Talpade will reprise their roles in this fourth instalment of the franchise.

Interestingly, Diwali 2017 slot was booked by Rohit Shetty for “Son of Sardaar 2” but the sequel has now been delayed, and Golmaal 4 is scheduled to release on this date. This is the sixth film of Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty after, Zameen, Golmaal, Golmaal Returns, Singham, Golmaal 3 and Singham Returns. All the films proved to be blockbuster hits. Let's hope, with Golmaal 4, the duo once again give us a blockbuster comedy experience. The film has already been kick-started and will be ready to hit the theatres next year on Diwali.
