#RaeesTrailerAaRahaHai – But Before That King Khan Has a Special Message for Fans!

With so many things happening back to back with regards to King Khan, fans could not have asked for more! For all those who have written off SRK after the disappointing performance of Dilwale and Fans, it's time they eat their words now. With Dear Zindagi continuing to mesmerise audiences, and the first look of Imtiaz Ali's next, starring Shah Rukh and Anushka, getting an overwhelming response, SRK fans are in for another treat now. The King Khan pulls another charm as he releases a special video announcement for the trailer of Raees, that’s coming out on December 7. In this special announcement he has invited all his fans to join him for an interactive session before the trailer is released. This session will go live across all UFO screens at the same time. We always knew SRK is one tech savvy actor, but with this unique promotion of Raees, he has taken it a notch higher.

Raees is one of the much-awaited films of 2017. Set in Gujarat during the 1980s, Raees will see Shah Rukh Khan playing a bootlegger, Raees Alam aka Miyaanbhai, fighting against a police officer, ACP Ghulam Patel, who challenges his illegal business. The film also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Mahira Khan and Mohammad Zeeshan Ayyub. Directed by Rahul Dholakia, Raees is ready to hit the theatres on January 26th 2017, the same day when Hrithik Roshan's most ambitious film, Kaabil will unveil on big screens. Apparently, initially the film was scheduled to release on Eid this year, but SRK was not too keen about the film clashing with Salman Khan's Sultan. And also, since all the major festivals of 2016 were taken by other big budget movies like Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Shivaay and Dangal, the makers have no other option but to shift the release to next year.
This upcoming Bollywood movie has garnered enough controversies too. But as they say, any publicity is good publicity in Bollywood, and SRK seemed undeterred by any. Be it the film's legal trouble with gangster Abdul Latif's (on whose life the it is apparently based on) son or public outburst over Pakistani actress Mahira Khan's appearance in the film, the King Khan braved it all and is now all geared up for the film’s big release around Republic Day next year.
