Yes you read that right! The master blaster, Sachin Tendulkar has made yet another debut – this time with the mic. The ace cricketer made his singing debut with none other than Sonu Nigam and their first track is called, “Cricket Wali Beat”. The song had its World premiere on the Grand Finale of Indian Idol, aired yesterday! It was a sheer pleasure to watch Sachin crooning quirky lyrics like, “Gend aayi, bala ghuma, mara chaka, Sachin, Sachin... nacho nacho sab cricket wali beat pe“.

Even before the grand premiere of his song, Sachin Tendulkar had created quite a flutter on social media, when a picture of him holding a mic and Sonu Nigam holding a bat surfaced online a few days back. Fans were in for a surprise as their idol was gearing up for a new innings. And the grand finale of the Indian Idol 9 provided just the perfect platform for Sachin to premiere his debut song. He was the celebrity guest on the finale and also announced the winner of the show along with launching his song on the stage. The song has not been released in entirety on the social media and is only available on Sachin's new app, where the fans can get access to this song and all the information about the legend.

Earlier in February, Sachin got his fans excited with the announcement of the release date of his much-awaited biopic, “Sachin: A Billion Dreams”. The first look of the film was released in April 2016 and the fans just went crazy and have been waiting for the movie ever since. Now the film is ready to hit the theatres on May 26th . It is written and directed by James Erskine and produced by Ravi Bhagchandka and Carnival Motion Pictures under 200 NotOut Productions. The film captures substantial details and special moments in Sachin's 24-year cricket career.

Sachin Tendulkar rules the pitch like a God, it's a known fact. But what we didn't know was that this cricketing legend is too good with the mic also. He gave tough competition to Sonu Nigam, who got completely bowled over by this man's talent. Already the song is getting an overwhelming response and the fans are in love with their cricketing icon's voice. Sachin Tendulkar proved that he is not just a master with the bat, but with the mic as well!
