Ranbir Kapoor is all back in form after his semi-hit Ae Dil Hai Mushkil starring opposite Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. With his latest upcoming movie Jagga Jasoos just up for release, he has been roped in for the most talked biopic in the industry right now- on the superstar Sanjay Dutt. yes, you read it right. Junior Kapoor has been all busy shooting for this untitled biopic with Rajkumar Hirani. Ranbir was recently spotted in Mumbai in Madh Island where he leave his car and travel by ferry to the sets. He is truly seen taking all the extra miles he can while portraying Munna Bhai on the big screen.

Over the last few months, the actor has been working out hard to get in shape of Sanjay Dutt. he has gained almost 13 kgs with all muscle and no fat. He is also watching 200 hrs of recording as basic fodder for the biopic. He was recently seen seen dressed in trousers and shirt, with a waistcoat and is almost looking like Sanjay from his films Sadak and Saajan. The director may have wanted to keep the look of the lead actor away from the eyes of the audiences but it couldn’t happen due to the prying eyes of social media. He is also having those long hair locks which Sanjay Dutt had in Nineties in films like Saajan and Thanedar. Ranbir will be seen portraying three phases of the actor’s life in which he will showcase three avatars with a beefy body and then a lean look from 90’s and the third avatar will portray his phase during drug rehab.

The untitled biopic will be the first one to be made on a Bollywood star ever in the industry. Paresh Rawal has been assigned the role of his late father, actor and politician Sunil Dutt. Anushka Sharma will most probably be seen as a journalist and Sonam Kapoor will be playing one of the leading ladies opposite to Ranbir after 10 years. Also, Manisha Koirala will be playing Sanjay Dutt's mom, actress Nargis.

This biopic of Sanjay Dutt will be covering his life and all those instances from his Bollywood debut in 1981 film Rocky to his rise to fame films like Khalnayak and Vaastav. The film will also focus on Sanjay Dutt's involvement and conviction in the 1993 Mumbai blasts case, for which he served a prison term of five years. Meanwhile this movie comes, you will get to see Ranbir Kapoor in Jagga Jasoos opposite Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in Phillauri opposite to Diljit Dosanjh.
