1. Lions Marathon – Run for ”Diabetes Awareness”
This upcoming sports event is happening this weekend at Elliots Beach. Lions Club International has adopted diabetes awareness as a long-term commitment. In association with District 324AI, the club organizes this marathon to spread awareness about diabetes. Registration for this 10km marathon is live and you can register yourself here.
2. Bhumi India Run 2017
This run is for the cause of Education! This sports event in Chennai brings people together across the country to Run for Education with a mission to bring about change today, for a better society tomorrow. Bhumi India Run has a unique stadium, trail and road running experience. Not just for professional runners, this Run is also for the individuals who are looking to pick up running. Happening on April 9th, the event gives you a purpose to run.
3. LFC Marathon – Run for “Swatch Bharat”
Join the noble cause of “Swatch Bharat” with LFC Marathon, happening at Marina Beach on May 14th. It will be a 10km Marathon run and the Finishers Medals will be given immediately at the finish point after the race. Register yourself for this run here .
4. Champions Marathon – Run for Cancer Awareness
Run and fight against cancer with Champions Marathon. This Sports event happening near you is for the cause of spreading cancer awareness among citizens. It’s a 10 km run at Marina beach on Sunday 11th June, starting from the Lighthouse.
5. Digital India Marathon – Run for “Digital India”
Contribute towards the cause of Digital India by participating in the Digital India Marathon happening this July at Marina Beach. There are three categories you can choose to run for; 3 km, 5 km and 10km.
