New year celebrations are over though, but the celebrations in the Indian dressing room can’t seem to stop anytime soon. The cricketing Gods must be crazy because Team India seems to be in a great form. After thrashing the England side 4-0 in test series last year, Men in Blue are all pumped up to step up in the ICC T20 Rankings where they presently sit on the third spot after Australia and South Africa. The T20 series between these two teams is going to start soon and these arch- nemesis are back in action. The captains of both the teams are clashing head-on and are making the best of what they have, the talent, conditions and the opportunities coming their way.

If one goes by the table, Team India sits at #3 with 111 ratings and Team England at #5 with 107 ratings. It will be a sight to watch where both the teams will perform at their optimum level. The captains of both the teams are clashing head-on and are making the best of what they have, the talent, conditions and the opportunities coming their way. Indian skipper on the other side Virat Kohli looks in a solid form. He is persistent, quick in the field, can make sharp decisions and still never ceases to amaze the cricket fans and critics as well.

The first ODI match was such a sight to witness. After the British side gave a humongous score of 350 odd runs, India was 65/4. But then came our newly anointed Captain Virat Kohli and Kedar Jadhav who had a stitched in a good partnership of 200 runs. There were runs raining at every corner of the ground and especially that one shot that stood out was an extraordinary high-elbowed, back-foot loft, in the 34th over off Chris Woakes, that went over the ropes on the leg side by Virat. It seemed like three hours of cricketing game, at its best chase

After these cutthroat ODI matches will be a T20 series, which will be as crucial as the other two formats against the visitors. India vs England 1st T20 will be played in Kanpur, Green Park Stadium on 26th January and the tickets are already selling like hot cakes. It’s a big question to all the cricket fans around the world if Team England will make it possible to win either of the series against the Men In Blue.
