No one is unaware The newly appointed captain, the man himself Virat Kohli has a tough task ahead this year. Team India is to play England in 3 T20’s in later half this month and Australia in the month of Feb in these much-talked sports events. Men In Blue will try to replicate what they did in the test series against the British and seize every opportunity to get to the top of ICC T20 Team Rankings. Currently, the team sits in the second position just behind Team New Zealand with 123 ratings. The three T20 match series will be played in India and will surely provide the much longed enthralling experience to the spectators with the return of Dhoni, Raina and Yuvraj. Rest of the squad looks new but, the run-fest is well assured no matter who stays in the playing eleven.

On the other hand, Team Australia under the captainship of Steve Smith is keen to take on India in India in the Border- Gavaskar Trophy as the team looks in good form. They very well understand that defeating the hosts is going to take a lot more than sweat and blood, but good tactics and patience. Team India has shown an impeccable performance in the tests against Team England in the last year, where they thrashed the Britishers 4-0. At present, the hosts sit at the top of the ICC ranking table and look just unbeatable under the able captaincy and unstirred form of Kohli. Team Australia has a packed international schedule right from the start of the year as they play Team New Zealand in an ODI series and Sri Lanka in February just before clashing with the Men In Blue for tests.

We cricket buffs just can’t get enough of the cricket dose and look forward to these series will be damn exciting. T20 bowling lineup will be solid as iron with Ashwin, Shami, and Jadeja back together. It will be a sight to see Kohli taking over Dhoni as full-time Captain for both the series. This will also be a major start of an era, where the young team along with some experienced players will play against big teams and get themselves prepared for the hard future, yet to come.
