2018 has started and so has the cricketing season for Indian fans. Even though Cricket barely stopped in the last year, Team India is playing South Africa in their home from January 05, 2018. But the much awaited cricket league of the year, IPL (Indian Premier League), will start from April 04 and the cricket fanatics just can’t wait now. After getting the two old franchises back in action this season, IPL will also feature the reinstated Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals.

The old Chennai Super Kings are set to go ahead and keep three of their best players, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Suresh Raina and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja for the 2018 Indian Premier League season. They are also most likely to retain Dwayne Bravo with their ‘Right To Match’ card which might prove to be the best decision they would get to make.

Along with the CSK team, defending champions Mumbai Indians are also all set to retain skipper Rohit Sharma who is in tremendous form this time. He has recently scored 208 in the last ODI against Sri Lanka and smashed a ton in 35 balls in a T20 match in India against the Lankans. Along with him, the Pandya brothers, Hardik and Krunal, have also been kept safe ahead of the auctions on January 27 in Bengaluru.
