Chennai Super Kings will make a comeback in the upcoming 11th season of Indian Premier League (IPL) after a hiatus of two years. Chennai Super Kings along with Rajasthan Royals were suspended from participating in IPL for the last two seasons owing to their involvement in betting back in 2013. Their place in IPL was taken over by Rising Pune Supergiant and Gujarat Lions in 2016 and 2017.
The yellow team have appointed former South African pacer Eric Simmons as their bowling consultant for their upcoming comeback season. The team took to Twitter to make their announcement:

Eric Simmons was the bowling coach for the Indian national cricket team and played a pivotal role in ensuring India’s victory at the 2011 World Cup. He was previously associated with Delhi Daredevils and also coached Rising Pune Supergiant during the 2016 and 2017 editions.

Chennai Super Kings have already pumped up their battalion by appointing Stephen Fleming as head coach, Michael Hussey as batting coach and Lakshmipathy Balaji as their bowling coach. The eleventh season of IPL will commence on April 7th , 2018.
