Indian star bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar from Sunrisers Hyderabad has taken 21 wickets in 11 matches and currently holds the purple cap in IPL 2017. Second in the list is Imran Tahir from Rising Pune Supergiant who has taken 17 wickets in 12 matches followed by upcoming Indian star bowler and teammate, Jaydev Unadkat who has taken 17 wickets in 8 matches. The fight for the purple cap is really close just like the one for orange cap and players are giving their best performances in order to make their team victorious. This season has proved that if given the chance and a platform, local Indian players are as good as international players.
