The third instalment of the rebooted franchise – Star Trek Beyond is a beautiful tribute to the original. Every version of Star Trek has one concept that forms the crux of the film - the future is a better, brighter place and mankind will work together to create a new standard. Star Trek Beyond is also based on this concept. In fact, this is the most positive film in the franchise.

Directed by Justin Lin and penned by Simon Pegg and Doug Jung, Star Trek Beyond will take you on a nostalgic ride. This 49-year old TV franchise has been converted into an animated series and rebooted several times into movies. This is the 13 th movie in the third instalment of the rebooted franchise. The USS enterprise led by Captain James Kirk (Chris Pine) along with the crew members Spock (Zachary Quinto), Leonard McCoy (Karl Urban), Nyota Uhura (Zoe Saldana), Montgomery Scott (Simon Pegg), Hikaru Sulu (John Cho) and Pavel Chekov (Anton Yelchin) have been attacked by a powerful unstoppable wave of unknown aliens. They have destroyed the Enterprise, leaving the crew stranded on an earth-like- topographical planet on the other side of the Nebula, where they find themselves in conflict with a new ruthless enemy. This enemy is Krall, played by Idris Elba, a lizard-like villain who wants a part of the weapon, which is aboard the Enterprise. How they find their way out of this planet forms the crux of the story.

This English Adventure movie is getting good reviews from masses and critics both. The movie has everything a Star Trek fan would love to watch. The earlier Star Trek movies were criticized for their lack of connection with the original TV series. As a Star Trek fan himself, Simon Pegg has made sure that Star Trek Beyond should stick to the original as closely as possible. The visuals and action sequences are just out of the world. There are many new characters like Jaylah, played by Sofia Boutella, being introduced in the Star Trek universe with this film. You will also find a romantic sequence between Spock and Uhura. But, the highlight of the movie is its climax that will leave you craving for more.

Star Trek Beyond will transport you to the original TV series, which the previous films didn't manage to do. Even if you have not seen the earlier films of this franchise, just watch Star Trek Beyond as a sci-fi film based on space travel and we bet you won't regret it!
