The much-awaited trailer of the Ranbir Kapoor–Katrina Kaif starrer, Jagga Jasoos is finally out and its been worth the wait. Anurag Basu had announced the movie in 2014 and since then fans have been eagerly waiting for the film. As the film is gearing to hit the theatres next year in April, its trailer comes as a breeze of freshness. The trailer of Jagga Jasoos is all about Ranbir Kapoor , Katrina Kaif and wild animals. Yes you read it right – Wild Animals. One can see a lot of wild animals in the trailer of this Disney film.

For those who don't know, Jagga Jasoos revolves around the life of a teenage detective, Jagga (Ranbir), who has only one motto i.e. to find the killer of his father. Katrina plays a dedicated lover who assists Ranbir in his journey to find the reason behind his dad’s death and travels with him to Kolkata and Morocco. As this dutiful son embarks on a journey to find out the mystery behind his father's death, this journey turns out to be a life-altering, adventurous experience in itself.

The 2:44-minute-long trailer, titled Enter The World of Jagga Jasoos, showcases a montage of the duo, Ranbir and Katrina, encountering one bizarre event or the other. They both look like aliens in different situations. The entire trailer plays out with a background score that reinforces chaos all around, and only towards the end do we hear a voice – that of Ranbir’s. There are a few flashback scenes of a father-like figure leaving Ranbir. By the end of the trailer, you will notice stark similarities of it with Anurag Basu's last outing Barfi. With Jagga Jasoos, Basu has tried to pull off a Tin Tin in Wes Anderson style. The trailer of the film will be attached with Aamir Khan's Dangal, releasing this Friday.

The film will reunite the ex-lovers, Ranbir and Katrina, who were last seen together in 2009 in Azab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani. After all the rumours and controversies around the movie come to an end, it is all set to release on 7th of April 2017. While Ranbir Kapoor's last release Ae Dil Hai Mushkil proved to be a hit at the box office, Katrina's last two films – Fitoor and Baar Baar Dekho – failed to impress the viewers. Let's hope she hit the jackpot with Jagga Jasoos.
