Nothing can beat the feel of theatre and art at NCPA! The National Centre for the Performing Arts is one of the best theatre locations of our country. It is one of the most recognised theatres in Mumbai. With five theatres, namely Dance Theatre Godrej, Experimental Theatre, Jamshed Bhabha Theatre, Tata Theatre, and Little Theatre. All this in addition to libraries, galleries, music archives and recording rooms, makes the NCPA is India's only holistic performing arts centre, which hosts some of the best theatre events in Mumbai.

NCPA has a lot of plays that will grace the stage this March. Here are the four plays that you should not miss out on if you are a theatre aficionado and happen to be in Mumbai this month.

1. Mera Woh Matlab Nahin Tha
One of the longest running plays in Mumbai, an Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta and Rakesh Bedi starrer, Mera Woh Matlab Nahin Tha revolves around two ex-lovers, Preetam and Hema who reunite after 35 long years and attempt to clear the air about why they drifted apart. Written and directed by Rakesh Bedi, the play marked Neena Gupta's comeback on stage. It is staging at the Tata theatre on 18th of March.

2. Blame It On Yashraj
Staging at Tata theatre on March 26th, Blame It On Yashraj is again one of the most popular comedy plays of Mumbai. The play is a great take on a Bollywood-style production set on stage, that guarantees a good laugh. With all the glitz and glam of a typical Bollywood wedding, Blame It On Yashraj is set to the background score of popular filmy tracks and their parodies.

3. Amar Akbar Akoori
Written and directed by Meherzad Patel, Amar Akbar Akoori is a Gujarati natak. The story is about a Gujarati, a Bohri and a Parsi that are paying guests who portray themselves as Parsis as the landlady doesn't permit non-parsis in the building. Comedy erupts when these three characters come together despite their differences in culture, language, customs and domestic habits to win over their land lady. The play will be staged in Tata theatre on March 21st .

There's never a dearth of good plays in Mumbai, especially in NCPA. For a theatre loving Mumbaikar, NCPA always held a special place. Watching a play there is an over all unique experience. So head out to NCPA and experience theatre like never before.

Summary: NCPA is one of the best theatre locations of our country. For theatre loving Mumbaikars, nothing can beat the feel of theatre and art this place offers. For an unmatched theatre experience, head out to NCPA!
