Yes you read it right. The cast of the sequel to Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year has been announced and after choosing the Dancing sensation Tiger Shroff, KJo has hand picked this tv actor Karan Tacker to play the villain. The prequel had Siddharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt playing the lead roles and marking their debuts. This Punit Malhotra helmed movie is making quite a buzz from some time and is the talk of the town for launching two lead female actors too. We have many seen many TV stars making it big on the big screen like Sushant Singh Rajput, Sharad Kelkar and now Prachi Desai. Apparently, Karan will be the next to join the bandwagon.

Unlike the first part, which starred one female lead with two male leads, the sequel will star two females and one male lead along with a main villain. Apparently, Chunkey Pandey’s daughter Ananya Pandey and Sridevi’s daughter, Jhanvi Kapoor will be seen in this upcoming Hindi movie, Student Of The Year 2. Previously there were speculations of Sara Ali Khan’s launch with this film but those are the talks of yesterday now!

The main antagonist, Karan Tacker’s role will see him come up with obstacles for the hero. He has already started his preparations and looks pretty excited for the role. Well, we have always seen Karan in a lover boy image through the daily soaps. However, now watching him as an antagonist will be more interesting. Tiger in turn will also be sporting a new look for the film that includes a short crop. He has Baaghi 2 in his hand as of now and then Rambo. This actor also came up with Munna Michael last month alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui which couldn’t woo the audience as much as it was supposed to.

Anyway, we have high expectations from this SOTY 2 movie, especially after the success of the prequel. It will be an interesting matchup for these different actors pairing up on the big screen and taking forward the KJo’s franchise.

Student Of The Year 2 will be having some newbies as expected from the KJo franchise. The movie will go on the floors in October. Let’s see if the movie manages to pull the audiences as its prequel.
