Camping Rajmachi Village Near Lonavala Rajmachi Village has two forts, which were built by Shivaji Emperor during the 17th century. It is a famous spot for trekking and is a 16 km trekking distance from Lonavala Station. Rajmachi fort is a strategic fort overlooking Borghat, which was a historical trade route and has two fortified structures – the Shrivardhan fort and Manoranjan fort. Night Trek to Kalsubai Peak Highest Peak of Maharashtra Kalsubai, with the height of 1646 m or 5400 Feet, is famous as one of the highest peaks in Maharashtra. Kalsubai lies in the Sahyadri mountain range and being the highest peak, it commands a beautiful view and a scenery you won’t be able to forget. Since Kalsubai is extremely famous, enough efforts have been made to make this trek easy and more people-friendly. There are steel railings, chains and ladders at places where it is difficult to climb and all these hindrances will make you more excited to complete it and reach the top.

Trek to Peb Fort Peb Fort is situated on the north-east side of Panvel, on the Mumbai- Pune road, at a distance of 3-4 km on west side of Neral. This is the most beautiful one-day trek alongside a dense forest on the way to the Peb fort. The fort is also named as 'Vikatgad' and the historical references clearly indicate that Shivaji Maharaj used the caves on the fort as silos for grain storage. The place is quite tough to climb in the rains, but this will be one of the most exhilarating experiences for you all.
