The grand finale of Bigg Boss season 11 took place on sunday night and finally concluded the show which was going on for 105 days. 19 contestants and umpteen tasks later, it was the TV actress Shilpa Shinde who managed to clinch the title and taste the victory. Among the top four contestants, she had Hina Khan, Vikas Gupta and Puneesh Sharma competing with her for the title. While the country was excited to know about the winner in the nail biting finale, Shilpa on the other hand knew that she would win if Hina Khan stands next to her and Salman.

“Shilpa has recently said in an interview after Bigg Boss finale- “The audience who voted for me despite me singing such a tone-deaf song, I had complete faith in them. I did not think about defeat for a single moment. I had the confidence. It has been a big journey and a great one. It is still unbelievable. After what I have gone through, this is the perfect answer.. I think the way I lived inside that house, the way relationships were made there, I had never imagined such changes in my life.”

Well nevertheless, she takes home 44 lac rupees, lots of love and memories with her. She was joined by the previous contestants and, as a surprise package, Akshay Kumar joined Salman on stage and the duo had loads of fun with ex-contestant Dhinchak Pooja. On the show, Akshay Kumar also spoke about his upcoming movie PadMan which releases with Padmavat this 25th January.
