A moment of sheer happiness for all the Indian music fans as after Justin Bieber, it’s Ed Sheeran coming to India! This is something really big for the Indian fans as Ed Sheeran has been all over the news after JB’s big concert and we can’t tell you how excited everyone is. The year that is, it seems to be like raining international artists for us Indian fans. This English singer/songwriter is one of the best performers we have got with us in the 21st century and we are talking about this artist who has multiple tracks in the billboard top 10. This musical prodigy is none other than Ed Sheeran who has currently come with his latest hit album ‘Divide’ and is on a world tour to promote that.

Ed Sheeran, who has two Grammy's to his name is the third major artist to perform in India recently after Bieber and Coldplay within the last twelve months. Some of his recent hits include songs from the album divide; Shape Of You, Castle On The Hill, Galway Girl and Eraser, making audiences all sorts of crazy around of the world. His popularity can be seen by the number of fans he has all around the globe because of his quirky music and touching lyrics.

Another famous artist to perform in India this year is Vidya Vox, or Vidya Iyer, if you prefer, who is a YouTube sensation who has risen to prominence in the past three years and has taken the Internet by storm. Describing her music as fusion, her mashups are formed after carefully calculating and experimenting with different kinds of songs. Her plans for the future include an original album, and she is planning to focus more clearly on her sound, and experiment with different artists for more mashups from Bollywood and on a global scale as well. Vidya performs regularly as a vocalist of the Shankar Tucker Band and has performed in some amazing venues around the world, including the White House, NCPA and Webster Hall.

Well it’s hard to even imagine these artists are performing live in India as we have always seen them on our television sets and on the Internet, and when they are coming here we surely wouldn’t want to miss out on this big big opportunity. So put on your party hats and get in the groove for some amazing times ahead in the year.
