Very few comedians in India are as popular as Vir Das. Apart from being a stand­up comedian, he has also acted in Bollywood films. The comedian/actor is known for his roles in films Badmaash Company, Shaadi Ke Side Effects, and Go Goa Gone. His next release is the comedy film, Mastizaade, which stars Tusshar Kapoor and Sunny Leone.

Coming to comedy, he has a show called Vir­written, which is a take on Indian history. Vir also owns the Weirdass Comedy Company, which hosts shows in various cities.

One of their upcoming ones is the Pajama Fest. This will be the third edition of the fest and it will be held in various cities. Over the years, it has truly grown as in its initial year the fest had taken place in Mumbai alone, and the organizers took it to Pune and Delhi in the second year. In 2016, the fest will be held at Ahmedabad, Goa, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Mumbai, Kolkata,Delhi and Pune.

While stand­up comedy is gaining more popularity in a lot of cities, Goa as a location was a bit of a surprise. The place is known as the party capital of the country and a lot of events like Sunburn and India Bike Week take place there. Now with the Pajama Fest 2016 Goa, it gets even more happening as people over there can enjoy some awesome stand­up comedy.

The show in Goa is called Jesters Without Borders , and will be performed by Vir Das, Sharul Channa, Imran Yusuf, Mandy Knight and Raj Sharma. The venue for the show is Ravindra Bhavan in Margao and it will be held on 4th February.

The show will be hilarious as all the comedians are very well­known and have performed across the globe. If you haven't heard of them, worry not. Rest assured that they are renowned international comedians and will leave you in splits. Mandy Knight and Imran Yusuf are famous British comics, whereas Sharul Channa is a comedian from Singapore, and has performed in the country on various occasions.

Pajama Fest 2016 is going to be crazy as some of India's best comedians are a part of it. They, along with the international talent, will bring the house down at various events of the fest. If it is happening in your city, you surely need to watch it.
