The king of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan, has added another feather to his cap! The actor may have an immense fan following when it comes to his films, but he enjoys similar fandom as a public speaker as well. Known for his “witty responses and visionary ideas”, SRK became the first Bollywood actor to grace the stage of TED talks (Technology, Entertainment and Design Talks) held in Vancouver yesterday. This came just a few months before a Hindi version of TED talks makes a television debut in India, where he will play the role of curator. Throughout his session, he kept his audiences in laughter and the excitement level high. His speech was a part of 'Ted 2017 – The Future You' conference; an annual gathering of Ted Talks.

Shah Rukh talked for about 18-minutes and covered topics ranging from his persona of the 'King of Romance' to how the world has changed following the arrival of the Internet. He simply blew the audiences' mind with his wits and humour. And he turned out to be one of the funniest speakers ever at the event. He charmed his audiences when he said he is an ageing movie star. He delivered TED's 18-minute talk with confidence and panache in his signature style of humor and wits.

TED Talks have always been a very prestigious stage and has been graced by many remarkable personalities like Bill Clinton, Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, astronaut Mae Jemison, Google founders Sergey Brin and Larry Page, and many more inspirational people. Shah Rukh Khan will be adding his name to this illustrious list of speakers. He will be interacting with the audience for nearly 18 minutes about Technology, Entertainment, and Design (TED). This edition of TED talks in Vancouver at an event that will also witness Serena Williams and Elon Musk gracing the stage and delivering motivational speeches.

While we would love to see Shah Rukh Khan speak on public platforms like this, we are also excited for his forthcoming movies. After Raees released in January, his fans are all super excited for his next film, titled as 'The Ring' opposite Anushka Sharma. The first look of the film, launched a few months back, was enough for us to swoon over King Khan's charisma on-screen. Directed by Imtiaz Ali , this Upcoming Bollywood movie is scheduled to release in August.
