These are just some of the looks that will stay with us. So we thought of coming up with 10 more such unforgettable looks of the past decade that touched our hearts. Read on.
Alia Bhatt – The Pink & Silver Lehenga
Alia made a stunning debut in Bollywood as Shanaya in Student of The Year. She was the epitome of a true fashionista and we couldn’t help but envy her wardrobe. She owned brands we dream to see in our futuristic walk-in wardrobe. But the one look that was a massive hit has to be her blingy silver and pink lehenga for the Radha song. Every sangeet party had at least one girl flaunting a similar design. She carried the short pink choli with the shaded dupatta with the right oomph. Kudos to Alia for carrying off something so jazzy yet pretty in her debut film.
Ranbir Kapoor – The Harem Pants & the Headbands
Ranbir Kapoor has proved his mettle as an actor plenty of times now, but his performance in the 2011 drama Rockstar shook the audience. No one could have done justice to the role of Jordan better than the Kapoor lad. Moreover, his look throughout the movie was something we can’t erase from our memories. Styled by the best in the business, Aki Narula and Manish Malhotra, Jordan was dressed like the perfect rockstar – carefree and rebellious. Ranbir’s pathani kurtas, headbands and harems stood out and almost everyone wanted to try their hands on this style.
Ranveer Singh – The Handlebar Moustache
Ranveer Singh looked like a 10/10 in Ramleela and there is no arguing that. That body made us go 'wow' every time we saw him on screen. But more than his toned body, the handlebar mustache is what grabbed attention. Although Deepika was really happy when he shaved off that beautiful mustache, we felt it was a loss of his trademark style. The mustache definitely set off a trend among men, who loved showing off their facial hair. In fact, Ranveer himself admitted having a personal attachment to it. He said, “I’m very attached to my mustache. I love twirling it.”
Shah Rukh Khan – The Kohl eyes & the Pathanis
Raees was inarguably one of the most hyped movies in Bollywood. We loved the way SRK flawlessly carried off the character of a gangster. All the girls wanted to attain that hot bod and flaunt a similar swimsuit. Everything from the fabric to the way the saree was draped set a trend among young girls.
Shraddha Kapoor – Show off that Bralette
Although Baaghi may not be one of the best flicks in Shraddha’s career, the actress definitely received a lot of praise for her look in the movie. The neon colored bralettes along with the loose tank tops were a rage in the summer. In fact, plenty of girls are still not over it. We can’t deny the fact that the style definitely caught our eyes. Paired with ripped jeans, the overall look is our personal favorite, since it’s easy, casual and extremely basic.

Naina from Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani touched our hearts and the character connected with us brilliantly. The movie can be watched innumerable times and still be fresh. Deepika looked like a million bucks, be it her geeky look with the glasses or her transformation to a matured and well, hot doctor. Guys and girls were swooning over her style in the movie. Ash has wowed us with her beauty many times, but her style in ADHM was a major talk of the town. The red lipstick that she wore throughout the movie was appreciated by girls all over and has now become a part of every girl’s vanity bag.
