What if your only dream in life was to star in your favorite series? Don't you want to be one of those people who is on telly telling nice stories? At the age of three, David McDonald had the same dream and he pursued this dream relentlessly. He started his acting career early at the age of 16 when he acted in an anti-smoking film. Since there was already an actor named David McDonald, David decided to change his name officially and is now popularly known as David Tennant. Apart from being an excellent actor, he is also a fanboy who religiously followed Doctor Who and always dreamed of being on the show some day.
Taking over from Christopher Eccleston, David Tennant went on to become one of the most popular actors to play the Doctor in a series about Time Lords which is as old as time itself. It was obviously a dream come true for the Scottish actor as he was preparing for this role since he was a wee lad. This is the Doctor who gave a new meaning to Allonsy and he is the one who fell in love with Rose. Being the Doctor, the wibbly-wobblytimey–wimey stuff never leaves you. He married Georgia Moffett, who played his daughter on screen and who is also incidentally the offspring of Peter Davidson, who was the fifth Doctor. Take a moment to think about it and while you do, enjoy some of the best moments of the David Tennant's tenth Doctor. We really didn't want him to go.
The blink monologue
When he was concerned about his looks
When he gave the Vulcan salute
When he and Rose bid goodbye to each other
When he spoke about home
When he unleashed his fury
When he met Donna again
When he met his daughter
When he "saved" River Song
When he changed time
When he met the eleventh Doctor
Wishing David Tennant a very happy birthday and we hope to see him go Allonsy one more time. Which of these moments is your favorite? Tell us in the comments below and don't forget to share.
