Hello Mumbaikars, the weekend is here and you are just one week away from the Diwali holidays. While you might be busy prepping for the festive season, there is no reason for fun to take a back seat. After all, weekends are for spending time with friends and family. While you might be wondering what to do this weekend, we already have a plan ready for you. Yes, we understand you might have varied interests but our planner might just surprise you. From some hilarious stand-up specials to some artsy time with painting parties, there will not be a dull moment this weekend.

Stand-Ups

1. Sundeep Rao – Blurred Lines
This stand-up comic may be partially blind but his jokes are more than clear. He sees the world in a different way and his insight is hilarious.

2. Aakash Mehta – Half Baked
In his words, Aakash Mehta is not a perfectionist but he can surely make people laugh.

3. Take It Easy – Anirban Das Gupta
In Anirban Dasgupta's second stand-up special, he talks about love and hate in the world of internet and how we should take it easy.

4. Thoda Saaf Bol – Abhishek Upmanyu
His stand-up special is on a nation-wide tour again and you can read our review of it right here.

Painting Parties

1. Charcoal Sketching Party
Now create an amazing charcoal sketch with just a few tips. You don't even need to know how to paint for this one.

2. Knife Painting Party
If charcoal is not your weapon of choice, you can always go to a party where they let you paint with knives.

3. Venice Painting Party
This is for those who prefer to stick to brushes. You could be the absolute worst at painting and still create a masterpiece.

4. Canvas Painting Party
For all those Mumbaikars who dream of snow, you can now paint a beautiful scenery based on your imagination.

Theatre

1. How I Met Your Father
From the people who brought you 40 Shades of Grey (Hair) comes yet another hilarious tale. Read our review for more information.

2. Karl Marx in Kalbadevi
Karl Marx has arrived in Kalbadevi. He waits endlessly for a chance to speak but Mumbai has neither the time nor the inclination to listen.

3. Mera Woh Matlab Nahi Tha…
Starring Anupam Kher and Neena Gupta, this play is a bittersweet story. You can read our review of it here.
