This film is a witty take on the wonders and complications of love and heartbreak. This bittersweet movie follows Bobby Dorfman (Jesse Eisenberg) as he moves to New York to pursue a career in Hollywood with big dreams of stardom. He falls in love with Vonnie (Kristen Stewart), but can't have her. He later returns to his hometown, but soon enters the mesmerizing world of high society nightclub. A good movie to watch this weekend.
A coincidence brings former high-school sweethearts Jim (Mark Duplass) and Amanda (Sarah Paulson), together after 20 years. The two bond again and make a journey to the past. What they experience takes them back to old times, even though they lead very different lives now. A wonderful drama about the needs, emotions and aspirations of two adults.
Light Between Oceans
A retired soldier scarred from his battle experience, Tom (Michael Fassbender), takes up a job as a lighthouse keeper on a remote island. He meets the school headmaster's beautiful daughter and the two fall in love with each other.
Me Before You
A vibrant young woman hired as a caretaker for a rich man who is paralyzed and bound to a wheelchair. The man experiences some changes within him in the company of this lively and loving woman. Emilia Clarke plays her role with utter sweetness and charm, marking her space in cinema with success.
A classical dancer, played by Keenan Kampa , meets a moody but a brilliant violinist, played by Nicholas Galitzine, who performs in the subway. They are very different in nature but develop a chemistry that leads them to a dance competition that must be won in order to achieve their deepest desires and to save their hopes of the future. The movie has an electric soundtrack with some breathtaking choreography.
My Blind Brother
Bill (Nick Kroll) has a visually-challenged brother, Robbie, played by Adam Scott, is an athlete and champion of the community who has always overshadowed his younger brother with his popularity and achievements. This movie has a twist to it when they both find out that their love interest turns out to be the same woman. Have a romantic weekend.
