5 Funny Teachers of Bollywood

Teachers play a crucial role in everyone's life. They are who you always look up to whenever you are lost and need a way out, and they have always been there to guide you. They are people you are glad you met and there is at least one teacher who made a lasting difference in your life.
Bollywood though boasts of an entirely different kind of teachers. If you look back at the movies you have watched, you could remember a variety of teachers ranging from the stunning Sushmita Sen in Main Hoon Na to the disciplinarian Viru Sahastrabuddhe from 3 Idiots. Though we always keep bragging about the hottest teachers keeping aside the interesting and funny ones, lets have a look at the peculiar characters which made the movies a lot funnier.
Satish Shah as Professor Rasai – Main Hoon Na
The film undoubtedly had a lot of interesting characters who made the college look fun including a set of professors with peculiar characteristics. Satish Shah played Professor Rasai and he sure had a lot of "ras". He would spit on you, spit on you, but would never misbehave.
Bindu as Mrs. Kakkad – Main Hoon Na
Mrs. Kakkad was an adorable and incredibly funny character. She was the typical Hindi teacher whose English pronunciations made everyone run away from her. The way she calls Ram a "macho man" would have made SRK feel a lot more macho.
Boman Irani as Dr. Viru Sahasrabuddhe – 3 Idiots
Better known as 'Virus', Viru Sahastrabuddhe was a masterpiece. He was ambidextrous, multitask like a pro and could divide the entire generation into doctors and engineers. Though he played the stubborn professor and dean, he did give us a few laughs.
Boman Irani has great comic timing and the other characters he has pulled of with ease include Dr. J. Asthana from Munna Bhai M.B.B.S and the principal suffering from alzheimer in Main Hoon Na.
Archana Puran Singh as Ms. Braganza – Kuch Kuch Hota Hai
Miss Braganza was the English professor of St. Xavier's College and she was the one who made us realise that "love is friendship" in just one lesson of "Love Story". She looked way hotter than some of the students of the college (indeed) and constantly flirted with Principal Malhotra.
Manoj Joshi as Harishchandra Ramchandra Mirchandani – Golmaal: Fun Unlimited
Famously known as 'Ha.Ra.Mi.', Manoj Joshi played a victim of a professor and principle. Regardless of the many times he was taken for a ride by his students, he still tried to bring out the good in them.
Teachers play a huge role in shaping our life and educating us before we step out into the big world. There is a reason we say, "school days are the best" and our favorite teachers are certainly one of the reasons we say that.
To all the teachers who are trying to make a difference in the society, a very happy Teacher's Day to you all!
