5 Indian cricketers who are probably in the wrong profession

Indian cricket has always been in the limelight for all possible reasons. Our cricketers make the sport even more popular, be it for their on-field performances or the ones off it. We give you a list of 5 Indian cricketers who could probably be better at something else, of course, apart from cricket. Alternative profession, maybe?

1. Shikhar Dhawan – The Macho Model!

Twirling moustache, tattooed biceps, pierced ears, a lean body and an impeccable fashion sense – Shikhar Dhawan has all the makings of a perfect ramp model who can set fire to the stage with his unique style statement and charismatic persona. Plus, he’s got some moves of his own!

Here’s Shikhar on the cover of GQ. Suave?

2. Yuvraj Singh – The Actor!

We love the grit and passion with which Yuvraj Singh plays his cricket. Though, not many people know that Yuvi was an equally talented child artist who acted in a couple of Punjabi movies. It did not stop there. Yuvraj recently lent his voice in an animated Bollywood movie titled “Jumbo” and will soon be heard in “Captain India” – an upcoming animated film. At this rate, we might just see Yuvi the actor soon!

Watch the adorable Yuvi in this Punjabi film:

3. MS Dhoni – The Army Officer!

Did you know? MS Dhoni’s hidden ambition was to become an armyman. "Since childhood, I wanted to join the Army. I used to visit the cantonment area and seeing the soldiers I used to think that one day I will also be among them”, said the Indian captain after he was made an honorary Lieutenant colonel in the territorial army.

Take a look at the captain’s cool look in the army outfit. Full marks, we say!

4. Harbhajan Singh – The Singer!

When Harbhajan Singh steps out to play, entertainment is guaranteed. The Turbanator is famous for his post-wicket celebrations and the send-offs he delivers to batsmen. Off the field, he can sing and dance like a pro! Last year, Bhajji tried his hands at singing and it turned out pretty good. He then featured in a music video called “Meri Maa”, also doing playback for the same.

Here’s Bhajji pa in his debut track:

5. Ravindra Jadeja – Anything he wants!

Need we say more? Ravindra Jadeja has been the trendsetter of Indian cricket. Thanks to his antics on the field and courtesy some dressing room teasing initiated by MS Dhoni, Jadeja has earned the title of “Sir” and rightly so. Whether it is winning the match off a no-ball or a task that appears seemingly impossible to the common man, Jadeja can do it all. So, with his Rajnikanth-like magical powers, Sir Ravindra Jadeja can pretty much be good at whatever he does.

Read this comical tweet by MS that explains the popularity of Jadeja. Just give him the official knighthood already!

These are just some of the qualities of a few Indian cricketers. Who else could be in this list, according to you? Share with us in the comments below!
